Our Story

Through our journey of coffee drinking one thing stands out above all else, nothing can replace a freshly roasted cup of coffee. In purchasing our own coffee we found it hard to find any that was less than 30 days old. In 2019, our mission began to supply our local community here in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina with fresh & environmentally friendly coffee.

We are able to achieve this through three distinct principles:

  • On-Demand: We have zero inventory as we roast on demand, reducing the time the beans are sitting.

  • Small Batch: We roast in small batches on a small roaster to ensure the freshest beans for our customers.

  • Air Roasted: We leverage a rather modern technique “Fluid Bed” for roasting coffee that allows for a cleaner (both for the bean and also environmentally) process. As opposed to typical roasters that use gas powered drum roasters our air roasters heat the bean leveraging a small amount of electricity. In addition since the beans do not touch the surface of the roaster the results are a cleaner smoother flavor of coffee.
